PDC Odds and Ends

Oh yeah, the PDC... wait, what's that?
The PDC is the Professional Darts Corporation, and is essentially the place to be in International Darts. Mainly a British organization, players from all over the world compete for the Title every December-January. We won't even get into the WDF (World Darts Federation) or the BDO (British Darts Organisation)... suffice it to say, we'll use this section to highlight ALL International Darts. Most people have heard of the PDC first, though, so we labeled this page as such.
Most people aren't this dart obsessed, but the PDC actually streams their live broadcasts over the net. In Britain, this is prime time TV folks, which means given the time differential, these events are usually on during the afternoon and you can throw them up on your computer and watch some RIDICULOUS darts. 9 dart games of 501 and multiple 180's in a single game are not unheard of in this arena.
Their website for streaming the events is www.livepdc.tv
They do charge a fee for this, but its not a terrible fee if you're interested in seeing this stuff. Also, ESPN3 has been showing more darts lately, so that's another place to check. That is, of course, if your cable provider allows for access to ESPN3 (Cablevision does not).
